All I Want For Christmas…

Everyone wants to get something they look forward to for Christmas, and hopefully we’ll get something nice this year. For some of us we want something under the pink christmas tree and others want something else. Not everyone gets what they want though. This year for Christmas I might be asking for a little much, but none the less I would still like to get it. I’d been saving for some years now for this, and it would really be helpful for me and my husband Labron.

This year if its possible I’d like to buy a car, so that I can go places I want to when I want to, I could just get up and go. I do drive a car, but it’s reserved for use during work hours since it is a company vehicle. Generally there is a rule against us using our company vehicles for doing our own thing, like getting groceries or other chores. And my husband Labron does drive his own car when he goes to work but our office is both situated in different locations. Aside from that, I would like to have a new and handy digital camera so I could take pictures whenever I happen to go to a place that is unfamiliar. Then I could see what wonderful pictures I could take, and add to my current collection, it would be a very good testiment to the passion I have for it.

After many years of delivery driving the road has become my best buddy. It would also be nice to have to be able to find some type of hobby for non-work hours. It would be a nice change for me to have something to be able to consider besides life’s problems or being bored when I’m driving around. These are the things that I want for Christmas, and now I’m crossing my fingers that I’ll find them under my red christmas tree.

I Get Stressed During The Holidays

Flipping Christmas

The holidays can bring a lot of fun and happiness, but along comes stress as well. Yearly, I have to go through the stress of this festive season. When I think about it, I view Christmas in two lights, as both the happiest and most tiring day of the calender year. Why? Because it makes me think about something that I haven’t achieve for this whole year, and another year is about to come and make me struggle to get into that goal. It’s the fact of having a baby, is the thing that is so depressing for me. My man Labron, he just helps me relax and makes sure I don’t worry myself to death at this holiday that comes once a year and always ends up ok. Everything down to picking up my new upside down christmas tree stresses me out!

I always think that the reason could be that Christmas shows me the things I’m lacking and that leads to more Christmas stress, both because I shouldn’t be thinking such things and because it’s sad to think about. But things actually turn better when eve comes. I get to see people I don’t always see often, especially my parents, since they live in New Orleans and we are in the state of California, and even my nieces and nephews. Although sometimes we don’t encourage them to visit us during Christmas because I know they have other plans on this occasion.

Due to everything, I try to do a few things I’ve learned over the years to distract myself. I usually plan ahead and list down all the things to prepare. My husband manages to help me out by giving me second ideas on our next planned expenses during Christmas too. And next year we are hoping to spend Christmas abroad, at least that could be a less stressful for us. I like to think of the things I’m looking forward to purely for my enjoyment like my chandelier christmas tree.

Good Computer Games for Brain Development

How much tolerance do you have for your children’s video game playing habits? Do you set a specific time for them to get hold of their joysticks? Or do you simply ban them from playing? Whichever is the case, are you the type of parent who instills into their mind that video games are good-for-nothing avenues of entertainment?

If you are the type of parent who ensures that your child goes through the proper way of brain development, then you might as well erase the notion that video games are totally a waste of time. The notion that these gaming variants can impede the rightful development which your child’s brain must go through is a thing of the past. Research speaks highly of the video games’ capacity in line with challenging the brain so it could work its way in a variety of ways. Yes, studies show how they could be a substitute for the traditional type of learning that involves the use of a book and memorization technique.

Learn the Way of Video Games
As you would observe, most children would rather run to their video game stations right upon reaching home rather than take off their uniforms and shoes. They wouldn’t even eat if they didn’t have to. They really would rather being playing games then doing homework. The kids don’t know that their thumbs aren’t the only thing getting exercised. How do they do this? In the virtual world, they have to get to know their opponents, the rules on how to beat them, and the way on how to utilize the proper move to kick them out of the scene. They then learn the strategies to solve the big puzzle to end up winning. This way they can figure out what needs to be done to solve the “puzzle”. I like to read about video games for sale.

How the Brain Learns

As per the brain imaging findings, the human brain is able to meet the transitions through constant practice. When one meets a challenge then the brain is forced to react and thus it gets stronger like any muscle. Doctors have shows that video games can help stave off Alzheimer’s and other degenerative brain conditions.

Quick reaction time is necessary for success in video games. The brain gets exercise by being presented with a problem and then being challenged to solve it. You can let kids play games like brain age that help with development. A few games I like (to get you started) look for Afro Samurai for sale and Alpha Protcol for sale

Many kids enjoy playing any game at all. That is based on the fact that kids say what they are thinking free of a sensor. What they don’t realize is that they have fun in learning. Often these games cause self reflection. Learning how to do certain actions that games require a person to use their eyes to see how to achieve an objective and relay that info to their hands to do what is necessary. It make sense that not all games are bad for kids and their minds.

Tips to Make Extra Money At Christmas

The Christmas holidays bring extra financial pressures so it is worth thinking about ways you could earn a little more money. Christmas is traditionally a busy season for us all bit if you are prepared to give it some thought there are lots of ways you can earn extra money at Christmas.

The Christmas season brings extra trade for cafes, restaurants and stores who in turn need extra temporary staff. If you live in a University or college town you could look to temporarily replace students who have returned home for Christmas. So if you look for local temporary work you will be amazed by what is available coming up to Christmas.

It may be stating the obvious but why not consider staying in when you would nomally go out? Or even better why not work and get paid when you would be going out, saving and earning at the same time. Why not think about a babysitting service or creche on New Years Eve? You could charge a really good rate and be earning money instead of spending.

There is also huge potential to help out with Christmas deliveries in a number of areas – from Christmas cards to shopping. What about delivering Christmas trees? – a really good idea for older people or those with no transport. Or what about delivering Christmas cards locally? There are a great many opportunities delivering items at Christmas.

{External light displays are very popular these days}. If you were that way inclined (and have a head for heights) why not offer a service designing, putting them up or taking them down?.

You could make Christmas cards and sell them to your friends or save money by sending them. You could extend this to any sort of Christmas craft such as cake making, candles, gift baskets, mince pies

Finally, why not go online and setup a niche store selling Christmas gifts, goods, decorations from eBay or Amazon. You refer a customer to eBay or Amazon through your store and you maka a commision on any sale. You do not need to carry any inventory or stock – your site simply acts as a gateway for the bigger boys who will in turn pay you a commision.  You can see an example of such a store at tips for celebrating christmas and read my review of the site building process behind it at successful work at home career
