Sited in a leafy garden, the museum takes the visitor on a fascinating journey, to a period dating back around five hundred years, through the lives of those who once refered to Bolling Hall as home.
The city of Bradford is the home of the National Media Museum, which is one of the most popular museums found outside the nation’s capital city, London. It often makes you feel terrible for a long time and unable to enjoy yourself. So what are the best ways to stop your luxury cruise being ruined?
1.) Position of your cabin. If you ensure that the person booking your cruise is aware that you are a motion sickness sufferer, they should have the power to locate you accommodation cabin near the centre of the ship. This will minimise the amount of movement that your cabin experiences, even on gentle river cruises and will dramatically reduce the chances of feeling ill.
2.) Eating ginger. People have been using ginger as a natural way to combat travel sickness for hundreds of years. Its natural ingredients minimize the gag-reflex response signals that are sent to the stomach from the brain and will help to stop you being sick. You may however still feel a little nauseous as ginger doesn’t prevent this.

If you’re up and about and able to walk around the whole boat for a little while you movement sensory organs will begin to be more comfortable with the sensations and you feel much better
4.) Motion sickness tablets. This is generally considered the most power form of travel sickness reduction and for this reason it is the most popular. The sickness tablets work to reduce the brains receptiveness to movement and therefore act to minimise the amount of dizziness and nausea it feels. This is also why they can make you feel drowsy, so be careful taking them before swimming. To ensure that the chemicals are well circulated around the body when the ship leaves harbour, you should take your tablets at least 60 minutes before hand. This ensures that there is no window of time for your body to start reacting badly to the boats movement.
Large motion-stabilizing devices are now sometimes found on the more advanced boats, if this is something you’re interested in please visit Oceania Cruise

How to save money on your summer holiday
Summer will be here before we know it and it’s time to start planning those long awaited and well deserved holidays already. The only trouble is it’s been a difficult year, most of us have had to tighten our purse strings and no one has much money to spare for luxuries like going away. You most likely feel like you need a holiday more than ever, and it’s a depressing thought that you might not get one. But don’t worry, it can still be done with some thrifty thinking and a bit of forward planning.
Firstly, you could consider not even going away at all. No I haven’t gone mad, and I don’t mean cancel your holiday. There are plenty of relaxing, fun and exciting destinations right here in the UK that are cheaper, easier and less stressful than going abroad. With a little bit of investigation online you can find pretty much anything you could want, whether you’re looking for family holidays or romantic mini-breaks. Somewhere like TLH leisure resort in Torquay offers a wide range of pampering and sport entertainment from swimming pools, spas and gyms to specific golf, dancing and bowls holidays.
If you can’t stand the idea of having to put up with the terrible British weather all summer, you could still get your couple of weeks in the sun for a manageable price. The most important thing when booking holidays is to plan ahead and book everything early. The earlier the better if you want the cheapest price, though if you’ve already left it too late you can get some great deals at the last minute as well. Booking online is also usually cheaper than using a travel agent, unless you’re an exceptionally good haggler!
Don’t forget, flights and hotels cost the most at popular times. If you book flights at unsociable hours you will find they turn out a lot cheaper. Yes you might have to get up in the middle of the night, but you’ll be saving loads and you’ll probably be changing time zones anyway. Avoid holidaying in the school holidays as that’s when accommodation will cost the most. And don’t forget to check when the holidays are in your destination country too as they will probably be different and could get you a great deal after their kids have gone back to school.
Look at the exchange rates – Spain and Italy may be the most popular destinations but at the moment Europe is an expensive place to be. It might be cheaper to travel further away, last year’s Post Office index ranked Thailand, South Africa and Egypt as the best value countries, and they’ll probably have more sunshine too!
Think about whether you actually need to stay in an expensive hotel. Maybe you could rent a house or cottage instead, or even go camping. These places are usually cheaper as they are self catering and you won’t have room service and tips to worry about. If you know anyone who lives abroad why not stay with them, or swap houses for a couple of weeks?

Crocodile Eats a Five Year Old Boy
Dinosaurs were wiped off the planet millions of years ago, but as we know there are still alot of creatures that replicate their structure such as crocodiles.
The two species can be tremendously deadly if they manage to get hold of a mammal or human. They are both cold blooded predators which slowly watch there prey and then when they come close enough they grab them in there mouths. The aspect that is most dangerous when talking about Crocodiles is that they launch and attack humans before they have time to react.
Crocodile deaths has been on the rise especially in Australia and recently news has come to light that a five year olds body remains have been found in a crocs stomach. The child in question was someone called Jeremy Doble was last seeing playing with his brother in his home.
Police released a statement confirming that the the crocodile did infact eat the boy. His older sibling Ryan shortly after the incident saw the crocodile and informed the authorities.
But the childs parents have insisted that the creature should not be killed and instead taken to a local zoo or farm. This does become apparent that although dinousaurs are now extinct there species are still around alot. The world used to be full of cold blooded killers millions of years ago and slowly slowly evolution is pushing these sort of animals to extinction so the world can become a better place. So if you are thinking of going on safaris or Australian or a Kenya holidays then be very careful of getting to close to the deadly animals. So remember to always stay safe on your safari holidays.
Bionic Elephant
Safari holidays are a growing trend, more and more people want to jump onto the plane and head to Africa to go on a dream safari. Whilst you are there you are there you are bound to get to see some great animals such as lions, leopards, cheaters and not to mention the adorable elephants.
Let us all think about one brave elephant in this article called Mosha. Mosha lost a bit of her right front leg as a seven-month-old when she ran onto a landmine. She was quickly taken to an elephant hospital, but was expected to not make it through until an amputation expert fitted the elephant's leg.
Elephants have a large lifespan, nearly as long as a human, they live as long as 80 years in most cases so it would have been really terrible to see one die so very young. Mosha had her new leg fitted after growing to big for the one that she already had. The leg is made of plastic, metal and sawdust so it works as a comfort to the poor elephant and can hold all of her huge weight. Mosha had to simply have her false leg exchanged due to the quick growth in body mass.
She now eats a large 9kg of food a day, so it is highly likely she will grow a lot more over the next coming 12 months. Its great news to hear because when the incident first occurred other Asian elephants did not want to go near Mosha and instantly rejected her, causing her not to eat, but they have now all bonded and in all honesty she is a very happy and healthy elephant. So remember Mosha when you are looking at beautiful elephants whilst on your exotic Kenya holidays.
